Objective Lung cancer is a very common malignant tumor. Now the prevalence and mortality rate of lung cancer is the highest out of the malignant cancer in our country. Epidemiological studies have demonstrated that consumption of cruciferous vegetables just like Wasabi is associated with a lower incidence of cancers. A lot of experiments also confirmed the antitumor activity of isothiocyanate in Wasabi. Animal models of lung cancer were employed in this experiment to study the antitumor activity of extract from wasabi and the effect of wasabi on the expression of the early molecular marker of lung cancer (hnRNP A2/B1). These will provide new experimental bases to illustrate the possible molecular mechanism of inhibiting lung cancer. Methods 36 Wistar rats, which are 4-6months old,150-180g,both sexes, were randomly divided into two groups as control group and experimental group. We prepared 1ml carcinogenic iodized oil plus 50mg 3-methylcholanthrene (MCA).The rats were instilled with carcinogenic...
