| ObjectiveIn this study the haemolysis test was performed firstly, then the oral mucous membrane irritation test was performed as the test before clinical application. This study was to evaluate the biocompatibility on the self - developed Ni - Cr — Ti alloy and the Ni — Cr alloy in vitro.Material and Methods1. Haemolysis testthe self - developed Ni - Cr - Ti alloy was fashioned into 2. Ocm * 1. 0cm * 1. Ocm rectangle piece. Put them separately in the cuvette with 10ml physiological saline solution as the test group, and the group in distilled water was teken as the control group. Then put 0. 2ml the anticoagulant rabbit blood into each cuvette. After it was centrifugated by centrifugal, we took the serum. Then mensurated the magnitude of light that was absorbed in 540nm wavelength by spectrophotometer and calculated the rate of haemolysis.2. Oral mucous membrane irritation testThis two alloys were taken as the test materials, and PVC (PolyvinylChlo-ride) as positive control, and porcelain as negative control. All the materials were maken into wafer with 6mm diameter and 0. 5mm thickness. These wafers were fixed to the oral cheek pouch mucosa. 14 days after the operation, it was detected wether there was erosion, ulcer, hyperaemia, edema. Then the whole mucous membrane layer was taken and sliced, observed in microscope. |
