In order to research the relation of brain and androgen, the model of emasculation male rat was established by using the methold of immunohistochemical ultrasensitive SP to study the effects of androgen on the expression of AR and NGF in spinal cord,olfactory brain and hypothalamus of Sprague-Dawley after androgen treatment, and the mechanism of its were discussed for studing the protect mechanism.1. The AR and NGF positive production located in substantia grisea of spinal cord, but negative in substantia alba. It can be observed obviously in cornu dorsalis. The AR positive production located in plasma, cytoplasmic membrane and neurite, but not obviously in nucleus. It showed that AR and NGF played a key role in spinal cord. We can't bserve the descend expression of AR after emasculation. On the contrary the expression of NGF dropped and the expression of NGF resumed to the level of sham group.2. AR and NGF immunoreactive productions were widely presented in hypothalamus. The productions can be found in globus pallidus,nucleus arcuatus hypothalami,nucleus pre-opticus magno cellularis,nucleus pre-opticus medialis,nucleus pre-opticus lateralis,nucleus supra-opticus,nucleus paraventricularis hypothalami,nucleus periventricularis hypothalami,nucleus ventromedialis hypothalami,nucleus anterior hypothalami,nucleus pre-opticus lateralis,stria terminalis. The AR and NGF positive production mainly located in plasma, cytoplasmic membrane and neurite too, and few exited in nucleus. The expression of amus intensity and quantity in hypothalamus of AR and NGF were decreased when emasculationed. And the expression were increased after treated with androgen. But the expression of globus pallidus was on the other side. We can't find the obviously change in nucleus supra-opticus after emasculationed and treated with androgen.3. AR and NGF immunoreactive productions were widely presented in olfactory brain too. The positive production can be find in lamina cellularun mitralium,...
