1.Objectives:Epilepsy is a group of chronic disorders characterized by recurrent seizure,Seizure is a transient disturbance of cerebral function due to a sudden, intermittent, epileptic neuronal discharge. According to encroached neuron's location and discharges' suffused range, this malfunction can be divided into the disorder of one or more aspects such as movement, sense, consciousness, behavior and autonomic nerves, and so on.Epilepsy, as one of the ten big world-wide medical problems, has not still a unite recognition in pathogenesis and development process up to now. With the progression of molecular biology technique mankind has made the research of epileptogenesis from phenotype to genotype. In recent years, the gene control on neuronal apoptosis in epilepsy has gradually become a focus.Large amounts of researches indicated that another mode of cell death called apoptosis also exists except for cell necrosis, and found that the occurrence of apoptosis is controlled by genes which include two big groups according to the role in the apoptosis process:one group is composed of the genes of promoting apoptosis, the other is composed of...
