According to conditions and requirements of patients, we usually have autograft transplanting operations of hair. But its face several problems such as lack of hair supply and possessing different growth characteristics among different sites of hair. The culture of cells and tissue engineering hair technique provide a new thought to transplant hair. Dermal papilla cells of hair follicle play a important role in growth of hair follicles, modulation of hair cycle and maintaining hair growth. So the research of dermal papilla cells has becomes a hot point. Studies have showed that dermal papilla cells could induced the occurrence of hair follicles through secreting many growth factors such as insulin-like growth factor-1, fibroblast growth factor-7, stem cell factors, hepatocyte growth factors, keratinocyte growth factors et al. And the surface of dermal papilla cells existes many specific marker that are close to dermal papilla cells control growth of hair follicles. Therefore, the establishment of the culture model of dermal papilla cells in vitro will help us get the message about their growth characteristics in details and how to induce the occurrence of hair follicles. They are important aspectes to study...
