Objective: To observe the change of insulin-like growth faotor -1(IGF-1) in cord blood of neonatal asphyxia, changes of IGF-1 and blood sugar in acute and restorative period of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE) and changes of IGF-1 and blood sugar in the light middle severe HIE .We probe effect of IGF-1 blood sugar in pathogenesis of HIE.Methods: 1. Plasma IGF-1 level of neonatal asphyxia cord blood and acute and restorative period of HIE and control groups were tested by IRMA.2.Blood sugar level of the those were tested by microanalysis.3.37 cases were given the Neonatal Behavioral Neurological Assessment (NBNA) in convalescent. Relation between the scores and the plasma IGF-1 levels in acute stage were also analysed.4.we measured maternal serum and umbilical serum levels of IGF- I in woman with FGR and in women throughout normal pregnancy.Result:1.In comparison with normal group,IGF-l levels of neonatal asphyxia were reduced significantly(t=8.01, p<0.01)2. There were significance difference about IGF-1 level among normal control and acute restorative period of HIE (F=78.5 P<0.05). IGF-1 levels in acute period were reduced significantly, but those foe restorative period of...
