Coronary heart disease (CHD) is terribly threatening the health of human, whose incidence has the tendency of heightening year after year with the society having more aged people. We can find atherosclerotic plaque on the wall of coronary artery in CHD patients though coronary angiography. The coronary heart disease is correlated with many factors. In recent years cytokines have been found to play an important role in CHD. Research has showed that transforming growth factor-Bi (TGF-β1), as a kind of multifunctional cytokine, protected the heart in CHD, likely by immunity-modulation, inflammation-modulation, products extracellular matrix (ECM), depresses proliferation; resists to apoptosis and so on. But reports are less about its relationship to clinical patients.ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical relationship between serum transforming growth Factor-β1 concentration and coronary heart disease . Patients with coronary heart disease included acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and stable angina pectoris (SAP) were enrolled. The purpose of reseach is to access the significance of TGF-β1 in symptom in patients with coronary heart disease, the other purpose is to access the relationship between the result of coronary angiography and serum transforming growth factor-β1.MethodsThe study group included sixty five inpatients with coronary heart disease (CHD)...
