| BackgroundSpinal cord injury(SCI) is a difficult medical problem which results in limbs paralyzed and urinary bladder/rectum malfunction. Recent years great breakthough has been made in the research of functional reconstruction of bladder/rectum after SCI. Chuan-guo Xiao firstly put forward to the new neurology concept of restoring micturition in SCI. by established artificial somatic-autonomic reflex. The artifical somatic-autonomic reflex pathway was established in rat by intra-dural microanastomosis of the left L4 ventral root to L6 ventral root., basic and clinical research both proved that somatic motor nerve can regeneration into and replace autonomic preganglionic nerve fibers,which has profound therapeutic significance to neurogenic bladder caused by SCI.But the function of L4 neuron(isomerous neuron) which controlled successfully or joint the new target organ is required to illustrate in order to study further factors which affect isomerous nerve's regeneration.
