It will generate electromagnetics in all kinds of wavelength when radar was run,and most of the wave bands are microwave(300Hz).It is often concerned about whether the reproduction of the men who work and live in radar station is affected, and also the offspring health of the men .To find out the reproductive health of the men emerged in operating radar equipment,a epidemiologic research was done on 424married men working inradar stations somewhere. The purpose is to investigate the effect of low intensity microwave exposure on the reproduction. Objective To investigate the effect of low intensity microwave exposure on the reproduction and offspring health of men.Method 424 married men operating radar constantly znd 204 men as control were invited to complete the interview questionnaire on reproduction and offspring health; After the radar group and the control group are determined,64 men were seleted from the radar group and 60men were selected from the control group. These selected men received the analysis of semen quality to prove whether constant low intensity microwave exposure had adverse effect on semen quality.Data are analyzed with one-way and multiple logistic regression after corrected by mannul work and by computer logically. The software SPSS was applied to analyze the dataResult Incidence of abnormal sexual function in the radar group was 23.8%,while it was 14.7% in controls. The difference was significant between the two groups(P<0.05),while there were no significant differerces in eroticism, hard ejaculation, premature ejaculation and erection...
