Objective: To study the antitumor effects of giant typhonium rhizome decoction in vivo and to discuss the possible mechanism of tumor resistance.Method: Hepatoma HcaF25/CL16A3 cells of Ascites type were injected into the Balb/c mice subcutaneously to form the entity-tumor mock-up, giant typhonium rhizome decoction was given to perfuse stomach. After 15 days,to kill the mouse and get the spleen ,then to weigh it up and count the spleen exponent ; to get the tumor and weigh it up ,then to count the inhibiting tumor ratio. After that, immunohistochemistry was used to examine the expression of tumor related P53 protein; HcaF25/CL16A3 cells of Ascites type were injected into the vetro- of kunming type mice , we fed them with giant typhonium rhizome and observed the survival days.Result: 1. The experiment of Giant typhonium rhizome decoction to growth resistance of hypodermal carcinoma of mice show: Tumor weight of model group (n=10) is 2.1770±0.5064,while the tumor weight of experimentation group(n=10) is 1.4899±0.7998, the inhibiting tumor ratio is 31.56%,it is obviously lower than model group(P﹤0.05); the tumor weight of CTX group is 0.4742±0.0380,the inhibiting tumor ratio is 78.22%,it is obviously lower than model group(P﹤0.05). 2.To get the spleen and weigh it up , then to count the spleen exponent. The spleen exponent of model group is 0.0988±0.0211; the experimentation group is 0.1186±0.0329;the CTX group is 0.0953±0.0787. Although P﹥0.05,the spleen exponent of experimentation group is higher than the one of model...
