Objective: Depression is an affected mental disorder, which possess a high prevalence and mutilation rate. It is estimated that depression will become a major cause to mutilation, second only to cardiovascular diseases. At present, the study of the territory is active extremely. The novel drugs of clinic are emerging constantly, but the mechanism of depression was unclearly up to now.Depression has become the problem of global major mental health, which is the common disease and frequently encountered disease to harm whole human, and depression resulted in enormous loss for individual, family and society. Therefore, the research on pathogenesy of depression is paid attention to widely. At present, most investigations recognized the morbility of depression is relative with the functional disturbance of serotonin(5-HT), norepinephrine(NE) and dopamine(DA) system. Serotonin possesses multi-function in central system,including the regulating of affection, sleeping, awareness and memory. NE participates in multi-function, including learning and memory, sleeping and awareness, anxiety and the sensation and perception of pain sense.
