| Objective : The posterior cervical ligamentous complex had some important biomechanical effects .To date , the posterior approach operations of the cervical spine , such as , the cervical laminectomy and the cervical laminoplasty , need to total or partial resected the cervical spinous process including the supraspinal ligaments and the interspinal ligaments which attached to the spinous process. These procedures destroied the integrity of the posterior cervical ligamentous complex , and led to some complications ,such as the disapper of the lordotic alignment , the unsteadiness of the cervical spine and the axial symptoms .The use of the laminoplasty with reconstraction of the posterior cervical ligamentous complex could reduce those complications . We carried out biomechanical experiments on the fresh cervical spine specimens of sheep and cadaver , and measured the biomechanical character of the complete specimens , the specimens of improved unilateral hinge laminoplasty with reconstruction of posterior cervical ligamentous complex and the specimens of traditional expansive open-door laminoplasty respectively . We analysised the... |
