The hemangioma is one of the commonly known benign tumor or vascular malformation .The incident rate is 1～2% ,and that of the children who are less than 1 year old is 12% .The sex ratio of hemangioma is 2～3:1. Hemangioma mostly appears in the first several weeks after birth, most of them are dermal tumors or mucosa tumors. Although hemangioma is benign,nearly 10% of them maybe harmful to human health and even their lives. It affects some important organs, such as eyes, nose, oral cavity, extern auditory canal and perineum, and affects the normal function of organs; hemorrhage, infection and ulcer may occasionally occur. At present, there are many treatment methods on hemangioma domestically and abord, such as operation,radiotherapy, hormone treatment,injectionof sclerosant, injection of Pingyangmycin, laser or combined therapy.Pingyangmycin(PYM) is a kind of domestic broadspectrum antibiotics, and it had been applied widely in clinic since Zheng Qintian chose it in the treatment of hemangioma in 1991.
