| Objective: To compare the word recognition scores in noise betweenusing phrase clarity list and using Chinese phrase list in normal hearing peopleMethods: 11 females and 19 males with normal hearing were included.Each subject participated in two test sessions under 5 S/N and WRSs were obtained at the end of each session. WRSs of the KXC-1 and the Chinesephrase list-1 were compared.Results: Comparison of the WRSs between the two materials showed that there was no statistical difference. (P>0.05).Conclusion: The two types of test materials are compatible with eachother in the WRS test in noise, which indicate they can be used interchangeably in clinic with people who have normal hearing. |
