PrefaceThe banlance of proliferation and apoptosis of cell is important. Regular physiologicall morphogenesis and function is safeguarded by the banlance. Nowadays study reveals that all the tumors have the banlance of varying degrees. COX - 2 and Survivin are founded to be expressed in some solid tumors . in this study , we examined the expression of COX - 2 and Survivin in human gastric cancer tissue in order to study action of their abnormal expression in gastric cancer .Materials and Methods61 specimens of gastric cancer and 5 specimens of normal gastric tissue are made tissue pith branch . The expression of 66 specimens were examined by im-munohistochemistry. All cases were confirmed by pathologic diagnosis. Furthermore, we analysed their pathologic characteristics.ResultsCOX - 2 and Survivin are not expressed in 5 specimens of normal gastric tissue. In Gastric Cancer, the expression rate of COX - 2 and Survivin were 50. 8% ,75.4%. The their positive ratio were siginificantly higher than those in the normal tissue. (p<0.05).Furthermore, the expression of COX - 2 was positively correlated with lymph node metastasis and male. (p<0.05) ; the expression of COX - 2 was...
