| IntroductionCervical cancer is one of the most frequently founded malignant tumors in women worldwide. Current evidences implicate human papillomavirus (HPV) infection as a major causative part of the natural history of cervical carcinogene-sis. HPV - 16 and HPV - 18 are the predominant types in the cervical cancer specimens from most of the countries, which were called " high - risk type" . A-bout the mechanisms that HPV promotes cervix cells malignant transformation, at present it is generally accepted that virus DNA's integration to the host cell genome may be the important step, and E6 is a important oncogene of transformation characters. On the basis of LCT and organism pathologic diagnosis, in our country we firstly adopted Western blot to detect the expression of HPV16 18 E6 oncogene in the liquid - based cells in 38 cervical cancer 52 CIN and 16 normal control so as to approach its biological significance and clinical application value of this detected method, we want to enhance the detection rate of HPV infection and monitor its persistence in follow - up visit so as to provide more scientific and effective method to the precaution and early diagnosis of cervical cancer.Materials and Methods1 Materials1. 1 SpecimensCervical liquid - based cells were obtained from 6251 patients which were all in - patients from the Department of gynecology in the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University, during the period from Nov 2004 to Jun 2005. |
