Background and objective Although marked progress has been made in the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia(AML),about 20%~40% patients with AML failed to get complete remission (CR) after standard induction chemotherapy. Furthmore, approximate 70% patients in CR will die because of relapse or refractory to therapy during post remission chemotherapy. It is important to study indications for prognosis and early diagnosis of refractory AML. Protein is the direct performer for the process of physiology and pathology, and it is expressed differently in different disease, even differently in different stage of the same disease. It became realistic for proteins be analyed by high-flux method since proteomics techniques were development. And proteomics techniques were applied to the field of leukemia, including discrepant study of different leukemias, study of leukemia cell lines, effect of medicine in leukemia cells, et al. But no result has been reported about proteomics analysis of leukemia cells and prognostic significance. In this research discrepant expression of proteins has been studied between AML-M2a patients with evidently different duration of first continuous complete remission (CCR1) in order to investigate proteomics characters of AML-M2a and prognostic values. We aimed at providing basis for further inverstigating early diagnosis of refractory AML-M2a and designing new therapeutic strategy. Methods 1. Patients and samples 17 patients with AML-M2a at primary diagnosis were...
