| Objective1. To improve diagnosis accuracy of focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH) of the liver by retrospective studying the typical and atypical imaging performance of FNH, which were proved by pathology correlated with different type.2. To study imaging feature of the scar of FNH, fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma (FLHCC), hepatic hemangioma (HCH), and correlated with the features to the pathologic findings, analyze its differential diagnosis.Materials and Methods1. 20 cases FNH undergone the CT scanning, included the plain scanning and three stage dynamic enhancement scanning. Among the 20 cases FNH, 8 cases underwent the 16-slice spiral CT scanning, following the image processing of CT angiography (CTA) and multiple planar reformation (MPR). 12 cases underwent the MRI scanning, involved both plain and Gd-DTPA enhanced scanning. MRI scan with axial sections was conducted in every case and coronal was added when necessary. Image analysis included the diseased region, numbers, size, morphous, enhancing degree, haemodynamics feature and seldom image appearance et al.According to the American pathology typing in 1999, specialist of pathology department categorized FNH into tyipical and atypical type.2. Collected the 14 cases typical FNH, 7 cases FLHCC, 10 cases HCH, which all included central scar. All cases were proved by pathology and deteced by CT or MRI scanning before surgery. According to the pathology feature, their image... |
