Objective: Through the antegrade perfused model of isolated neonatal rabbit, the present study aims at investigating the possible mechanisms and effects of conjugated cholic acid, within the range of concentrations of total bile acids in the serum of gravida with Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy (ICP), on the immature cardiac function. It also probes into the fetal heart injury and sudden intra-uterine death caused by ICP.Methods: The antegrade perfused model of isolated neonatal rabbit heart was built by using the system of Isolated Heart Langendorff apparatus. Totally 49 New Zealand neonatal Rabbits (2-3weeks old) were randomly divided into 7 control groups (n=6). The experimental groups were persistently perfused with sodium glycocholate (GC) or sodium taurocholate (TC) of the different concentrations (0.05mM,0.3mM and 3.0mM ) in 2 hour and the control groups were persistently perfused with Krebs-Henseleit solution (K-H) in 2 hour. The index of cardiac function,...
