CD5~+B cells, which are developed from precursor B cells and are independent of bone marrow, are important subgroup of B cells. It is distinct from conventional B cells in origin, distribution, immunology and relation of disease. CD5~+B cells produce many autoantibodies and pathogenic antibodies which participate in many diseases. Pathogenic antibodies produced by CD5~+B cells can clear up pathogen in vivo. Autoantibodies produced by CD5~+B cells can eliminate pathologic antigen and participate in anti-immune diseases which are induced by pathologic antigen. CD5~+B cells can also activate B cells. In recent years many scholars have researched the action of CD5~+B cells in anti-immune diseases such as RA, SLE, ITP, GD, MG, DM, Ankylosing spondylitis and RF negative arthritis of callan. They found that CD5~+B cells were increased in these diseases.Rescent researches suggest that the numbers of CD5~+B cells increase in peripheral blood of patients infected with HBV and HCV,and the more CD5~+B cells exit ,the worse the condition of patients will be . All these studies demonstrate that CD5~+B cells may play important roles in acute and chronic pathologic reaction in liver diseases and related diseases. But nowadays the research of CD5~+B cells was scarce in chronic liver diseases, especially in chronic hepatitis B.In order to investigate whether CD5~+B cells participate in pathogenic reaction of chronic hepatitis B and the relation between the level of the rate of CD5~+B cells and the severity of diseases ,The flow cytometry had been...
