OBJECTIVES : To establish an model of acute cerebral ischemia-reperfusion in diabetic rats ; To observe the expression of insulin receptor and VEGF gene in the cerebral ischemic tissues; To research the relationship between the expression of insulin receptor and that of VEGF in the cerebral ischemic tissues; To debate the mechanism of the occurrence of acute cerebral ischemia complicated with chronic diabetes.METHODS:(1) The models of experimental diabetes rats were established by injecting the rats with STZ intraperitoneally and feeding with ordinary food, and the successful models were selected to establish the models of focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion rats by Longa's techenique. 120 male Wistar rats were assigned randomly into normal control group(6 rats), sham group ( 6 rats ), diabetes with cerebral ischemia-reperfusion group (DM+CI group, 54 rats) ,acute cerebral ischemia-reperfusion group ( CI group, 54 rats ), the late two groups were assigned into reperfusion 1h, 3h,6h,12h,24h,3d,7d subgroups;(2) The assessment standard of Langa' 5 scores was applied to assess the neural function of the rats after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion;(3) TTC staining was applied to observe and note the formation of infarction...
