Objective:1.To explore Acupuncture on regulating hypothalamus-pituitary-gonad (HPG) axis of common mammal at Different Developmental Stages by using electrophysiological technique and molecular biological technique.2.To observe if the ingestive behavior and constitution development can be impacted by the change of expression of destination gene in hypothalamus and sexual hormone in mammal.3.To approach the mechanisms of neuroendocrine to regulating the sexual development and the effect on regulation of acupuncture.Methods:1. Juvenile male rabbits for experiment were divided into(i) Electro-acupuncture (EA) group(n=10), (ii)Pre-pubertal control group(n=5) and (iii)Mature control group (n=5), all of which were measured frequency of the discharge of arcuate nucleus(ARC) in hypothalamus after intervention through electrophysiological technique.2. The SD rats were sured of four groups depending on their weight and age:(I) Juvenile group (n=49); (II) Early puberty group (n=40); (III)Latter puberty group(n=67); (IV) Adult group(n=55). Each group was divided into four teams: (i) EA with acupoints (EWA); (ii) EA with non-acupoints (ENA); (iii) Immobilization control (IC); (iv) Normal control (NC). All teams were composed of female and male rat's half-and-half. The change of expression of gonadotrop(h)in-releasing...
