The contents of this thesis mainly involved the studies on chemical constituents of two Chinese herbs in Guizhou province as 1) the chemical constituents of Sabia parviflora Wall.ex Roxb and Sabia dielsii Levl 2) the chemical constituents of Epimedium dewuense S.Z. He.By the means of traditional phytochemical methods, thirty-one compounds were obtained from these plants, among of them, twenty-nine compounds were identified by spectroscopic analysis together with physicochemical data.Sixteen compounds were isolated from Sabia parviflora Wall. ex Roxb and Sabia dielsii Levl. By spectral analysis, they were determined as pentacosane acid (XH-1), mominine (XH-2), fuseine (XH-3), methyl-3-oxoolean-12-ene-28-oate (XH-4), oleanolic acid (XH-5), 20(29)-lupen-3-one (XH-6), lupeol (XH-7), β -sitosterol (XH-8) , phaeophorbide a (XH-9), fuseine (PH-1), N-acetylanonaine (PH-2), betulinic acid (PH-3), betulin (PH-4), daucosterol(PH-5), β -sitosterol(PH-6) and β -D-frucopyranose(PH-7).Seven compounds were obtained from the ethyl acetate-soluble fraction of Epimedium dewuense S.Z through silica gel column chromatography for the first time and them were identified as eicosanol(YY-1), β-sitosterol(YY-2), 20-Hydroxydammar-24-en-3-one(YY-3), icariin(YY-4), icaritin(YY-5), icariside I(YY-6), icariside II(YY-7). All compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.Other research work: Six compounds were obtained from Kalimeris indica. Their structures were characterized as mominine(MN-1), friedelan-3-ol(MN-2), dammaradienyl acetate(MN-3), lauric acid(MN-4), β-sitosterol(MN-5) and methyl phaeophorbide a(MN-6), respectively. All compounds are obtained from this plant for the first time.
