Background:Developmental dysplasia of hip(DDH) is a frequent disease of skeletal muscular system in infant.There is about 1% to 10% infants to be prone to developmental dysplasia,dislocation,and semiluxation of hip in the borning.The safety and confidence of medical examination and X-ray examination are disputing, but high-resolution ultrasonic wave can transmit articulatio coxae which is not ossification.DDH can be observed dynamicly with ultrasonography and ultrasonography can provide credible basis for earlier diagnosis of DDH . Developed countries advocate all new born infant should be checked up by ultrasound. So DDH is detected and treated early.
