| Objective: Ischemic cerebrovascular disease is a common disease in clinical medicine and its morbidity, disablement rate and recurrence rate are high. Ischemic stroke affects patient's life expectancy and quality of life severely. The primary causation of aggravating illness state is brain edema after cerebral ischemia. Up to the present, the pathophysiological mechanism of brain edema is not be understanded roundly. Currently, inflammation reaction attracts more attention gradually. Monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1) accelerate the release of cytokines and inflammation mediums by attracting and activating monocytes, gliocytes and T-lymphocytes.MCP-1 play an important role in cerebral ischemia /refusion injury, brain hurt, exeperimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis,AIDS encephalopathy and central nervous system(CNS) tumor. The researches on MCP-1 become the focus of CNS diseases studies. There are few reports about the role of MCP-1 in permanent brain ischemia. The experiment is to investigate the function of MCP-1 and the mechanism of inflammation in the brain ischemia in order to provide theoretical bases for the clinical treatment of stroke. |
