Expression And Significance Of FasL, GranzymeB And Caspase-3 In Lichen Planus Lesions

Objective: To define the association of the expressions of FasL and granzyme B with cell apotosis in lichen planus (LP) and progression of the disease.Method:Immunohistochemistry method were employed to study the expressions of FasL, Granzyme and actived Caspase-3 in 28 LP cases and 28 normal cutaneous specimens.Results: The positivity of FasL,GranzymeB and actived Caspase-3 in the LP cases were 70.4%,64.3% and 63% respectively ,remarkably higher than those in the control group (P<0.001). The expressions of cytotoxicity molecules FasL, GranzymeB might be positively related with the expression of apoptosis associated protein Caspase-3 Significantly.Conclusions: The expressions of cytotoxicity molecules FasL,GranzymeB in the CLP cases were Significantly higher than those in the the control group, might be participated in the apoptosis of keratinocytes in LP cases.
