| The purpose of research1.To summarize the knowledge and the development of morden research in the Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP, including Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis, HSPN)with the viewpoint of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). 2. To observe the clinical effect of the Xiao Diantang on HSP. Methods1. Review of publications: We summarized and evaluated the research situations of Henoch-Schonlein purpura in traditional Chinese medicine through reviewing lots of the medical articles in the ancient and the research methods of HSP in the world.2. The clinical researches: 25 patients were divided into two groups by the symptoms. We observed the results before and after the treatment of HSP with Xiao Diantang .We took the clinical symptoms and urine analysis as the inspected index, and took the clinical curative effects of the drugs as the standard for the evaluation. After then, we figured out the datum with the methods of statistics.Result1. HSP is a kind of systemic vasculitis caused by self-immunoreaction. Antigens come into the human body, cause the fast and slow allergy. And then, it activates human immunity reaction, inflammation, cruor reaction and so on. Chinese traditional medicine thinks the pathogeny of HSP isFeng, Re, Shi, Du, Xu, Yu. Thereinto, the occasion is that children is easy to be infected, and blood stasis exists through the disease.2. Professor Xu Hua advanced that damp toxins and blood stasis block the metabolize, and qi of the lung and spleen is not enough by observing the characteristic of the HSP patients. It consummates the cognition of the HSP and HSPN on TCM. This pathogenesis is the important reason of long course ofdiseases.So in the tenet of exorcise and upending, professor Xu Hua summarized the proved recipe of HSP- Xiao Diantang. By observing 25 patients, we found out that the apparent rate of this treatment was relatively high, the first month is 60%, the third month is 100%, the average of curing time is 47.17 ± 34. 93 days.llpatients accorded to bloodheat-rash , 14 patients accorded to damp toxins and blood stasis block the metabolize, and qi of the lung and spleen is not enough. In symptom observing, thepurpura, arthrosis, bellyache symptoms were not patency in statistics (P=0.28> 0.18> 0.146) .4 patients had repeated purpura, 1 patient belong to group 1,3 patients belong to group 2. 8 patients had bellyache symptoms, 2 patient belong to group 1,6 patients belong to group2. The average of subsidized time of purpura and bellyache symptoms of group 2 was longer than group 1 (Group 1: 6.82+4.35, 0.45±1. 21;Group 2: 12.43 ±16.29, 2. 50±4. 36o ) .In collecting cases, we found out that the children patients of HSPN mainly belong to damp toxins and blood stasis block the metabolize , and qi of the lung and spleen is not enough. And duration of abnormity of urine analysis is longer, and the state of the illness repeated by infected. The findings show that the proved recipe can improve the main symptoms of HSP, and improve the quality of life.3. Because of the limit of research time, clinical condition, lab examination and outlay, this research only analyzed the curative effect by the case we collected in the base of former research and explore the effect of Xiao Diantang. But the sample size and research time is not enough, we can' t observe by setting up control group. The particular active mechanism of Xiao Diantang, especially the throttling action of immunity turbulence of the children patients of HSP is need to be study more. |
