Objective: To compare the efficacy of combined use of Calciun Phosphate cement (CPC)-homologous deep fascia, use of Calciun Phosphate cement (CPC)-freeze-dried allogenetic periosteum and Calciun Phosphate cement (CPC) alone in repairing segmental bone defect. Methods: 24 experimental rabbits were randomly divided into 4 groups,6 rabbits in each group. 10 mm defect of radial bone was made in all rabbits. 3 rabbits left defect was repaired with oneself Calciun Phosphate cement (CPC) fill in control group (12 limbs);right lose repaired with combined use of Calciun Phosphate cement (CPC) -homologous deep fascia as experiment groups, and other3 left defect to transplanted no material as blank group, the other side lose repaired with combined use of Calciun Phosphate cement (CPC)-freeze-dried allogenetic periosteum as tother experiment groups. The X-ray examinations were done at 2,4,8,12 weeks after operation. The Lane-Sandhu evaluated method was used to evaluate the quantity of the callus formed in defects which displayed on radiograph and each groups total relatively data were calculated. The evaluated results were tested by ANOVA of software Pems of statistics. The samples of pathology were done in 2,4,8,12 weeks after operation, the area of bone samples were analysed by computer, and the each groups area of new bone percentages were calculated, the results tested by multiple comparison ANOVA Test.Result: The result was consistent whether it was in the X-ray or histology.
