| Objective To modified periacetabular osteotomy for treatmentof acetabular dysplasia, and report the mid-term result of patientstreated in our hospital. Method Treat 16 acetabular dysplasia caseswith modified periacetabular osteotomy, and make a followup of 12patients for 28.9 months at average. Results All the twelve patientsget bone unioned, the average Harris Hip Score was 73 beforeoperation and 92 at the last followup, the average CE angle was 8.2°before operation and 35.6°after operation, the average Sharp anglewas 48.8°before operation and 36.7°after operation. ConclusionThe femoral head can achieve satisfied accordance with acetabulumthrough modified periacetabular osteotomy, thus occurrence ofosteorthisis can be postponed or prevented. The modifiedperiacetabular osteotomy is an avisable way for the treatment ofacetabular dysplasia. |
