Constructing A Hepatoma's Electronic Medical Record Of TCM

Objective: To construct an electronic medical record of traditional Chinese medicine for liver cancer, to offer a regular tool for the collection of clinical record data for liver cancer, to offer the support for making decision of clinical diagnosis and treatment for liver cancer, to offer the record data for clinical scientific research of liver cancer, to raise the efficiency and quality of medical work and scientific research. Methods: Through the method of consulting documents and specialists' meeting, to design the standard and structural template of EMR. Through making use of XML technology, to preliminarily construct clinical decision support subsystem and clinical data analysis system. Results: An EMR of TCM for liver cancer has been constructed. It has realized that the entering of patient's records is standard, structured, integrated, intelligentized. It has achieved quality control of the entering of patient's records. It has achieved drawing data, processing data, searching data, analyzing data and administering data. Conclusions: An EMR of TCM for liver cancer has been constructed, and it has indicated characteristics of EMR in TCM. It can preliminarily offer clinical decision support to doctor.
