[Objective]: To observe the effect of different treatments in partial suprachoroidal expulsive hemorrhage and provide the clinical basis for effective managements.[Methods] The model was established by deligating some of vortex veins(4/6 or 3/5 of the total vortex veins ) to increase the intraocular pressure from 24.34mmHg28.97mmHg to 50.62mmHg59.10mmHg. The intraocular pressure was kept for ten minutes, 165180 degree limbus incision was made and then suprachoroidal hemorrhage was induced. When two or three hemorrhage sacks swelt up to two quadrants of the eye ball , the deligated vortex veins was undone quickly, the limbus incision was closed and postsclera Fenestration was performed to release the bleeding which could reduce the IOP. In the model of this study, bleeding occurred about in two quadrants of the eye ball and some of the intraocular tissues expulsed ,but no retina. The animals were divided into three groups and every group was treated by different treatment: (1)the first group: closing the limbus incision (2) the second group: closing the limbus incision and performing postsclera Fenestration (3) the third group: closing the limbus incision, performing postsclera Fenestration and then doing vitrectomy ( injecting inert gases -C3F8 ) two weeks later. After two-week-observsion, IOP, B-ultrasound, P-ERG, pathology, electron microscope, biochemistry and so on were applied to analyze the result to decide which treatmentwas the best.[Results J: All the data was treated and the result showed that the third group was the best, in which the rate of eye atrophy was 5/14;the average value of SOD was 856.49±514.99;the latent period of F-ERG elongated lightly, of which the average value was 51.82±9.61ms. the next the was second group, in which the rate of eye atrophy was 8/14;the average value of SOD was 262.21±100.42;the latent period of F-ERG elongated moderately, of which the average value was 61.56.±6.39ms. The last was the first group, in which the rate of eye atrophy was 11/12;the average value of SOD wasll2.41±54.62;the latent period of F-ERG elongated strongly, of which the average value was 98.41±28.33 ms. When vitrectomy( injecting C3F8 ) was performed one week later after the surgery, the effect was bad, the process was difficult to be controlled, and partial suprachoroidal expulsive hemorrhage tended to become completely (massive) suprachoroidal expulsive hemorrhage, so this management was eliminated.[Conclusions!: By observing and comparing the development, prognosis and lapse of the partial suprachoroidal expulsive hemorrhage treated by different methods in this study, the outcome showed that the third methods was the best, which could decrease the complications of partial suprachoroidal expulsive hemorrhage, reduce the rate of eye atrophy and maintain visual function .
