Anatomic Study Of Deep Branch Of Ulnar Nerve And Analysis For The Function Characteristic Of The Third Palmar Intreorsseous Muscle

[Objective] :To study the courser,adjacence,branches,appearance and structure characteristic of deep branch of ulnar nerve , investigate anatomical basis of diffcult recovery of the third palmar interosseous muscle and to provid a anatomical accordance for clinical diagnosis and treatment of ulnar nerve injure.[Methods] :20 adult fresh hands without deformity and trauma were obtained.Dissect and observe the courser,adjacence,branches,appearance and structure patterns of deep branch of ulnar nerve ,study the composition of ulnar tunnel.relationship of hypothenar and deep branch of ulnar nerve and structrue of tendinous arch of adductor muscle of thumb under surgical microscope ( 2.5 X ) . measure the branching location .length, width,thickness and place of getting into muscle of branches offset from ulnar nerve,the data were processed by ststistics method.The branching place,courser, length,width,thickness of muscular branch of the third palmar interosseous muscle and the size of the third palmar interosseous musclewere given especial attention.[Result] :The deep branch of ulnar nerve proceed through tunnel consisted of bone and fabric,spatium intermusculare,interfascial space, has a complic relationship with circumstance and major varition.The deep branch of ulnar nerve controls petty intrinsic muscles and each branch is very leptos. The third palmar interosseous muscle and the branch of the third palmar interosseous muscle is the most petty in palmar interosseous muscle and branch of palmar interosseous muscle,besides,the third palmar interosseous muscle has a apparente tendon bundle superficially in somespecimen,which can oppress the deep branch of ulnar nerve potentially .[Conclusions] :The deep branch of ulnar nerve proceed through ulnar tunnel and spatium of hypothenar,pass through midpalmar space bettwen metacarpal, palmar interosseous muscle and flexor tendon,pass through tendinous arch of adductor muscle of thumb lastly and diverge ending branches.The deep branch of ulnar nerve can be oppressed at several place in its courser, especially at ulnar tunnel and the tendinous arch of adductor muscle of thumb. The third palmar interosseous muscle is the smallest one of three palmar interosseous muscles,which has a apparente tendon bundle superficially partly.The branch of the third palmar interosseous muscle is the smallest one ,which can cast light on diffcult recovery of the third palmar interosseous muscle.
