| Objective: To improve the effect of operative treatment of acetabular fractures by analyzing the clinical experiences in the treatment ,the factors influencing the reduction of the fractures and operative complication. Methods: 8 patients with acetabular fracture were treated by open reduction and internal fixation in our department. Result: All patients were followed up and the average period was 8 months(ranging from 6 to 12 months).Excellent results were found in 4 cases and good in 3 cases, and normal in 1 case. Conclusions: Surgical intervention is needed for displaced acetabular fractures. Surgeon's experience, the type of fracture, time to surgical treatment and choice for surgical approach are influencing clinical results of acetabular fractures. |
