| The morbidity of lung cancer is becoming higher, expecially for non-small lung cancer. As a new method stereotactic radiotherapy(SRT) has been used in China and other countries for many years. This research is performed to study one-year non-small lung cancer patients with many radiation institutes.Purpose :By reviewing our experience treating non-small cell lung carcinoma with radiotherapy using this modern technique we descuss the usefulness of SRT and search the maximal dose for the tumor and the patients' 1-year survival rate. The effect of patient-related factors ,tumor-related factors,treatment-related factors are also analysed. The importance of chemotherapy is tested. The radiation lesion is disserted. Methods and Materials: 182 patients were included, most were pathologically identified, 136 male and 36 female. The age range is from 35 to 87,Karnofsky performance status from 50 to 80.Only 56 patients had weight loss 3 months begin treatment.64 patients were tested squamous cell,38 adenocarcinoma. The type of central and peripheral include 91 patients each other. 14 patients were in phase 1,46 in phase 11,98 in phase 111,24 in phase IV.The volume of tumors is 4-63 8.4cm3.Most patients firstly underwent posterior-inferior portal radiotherapy. 1.8-2.0Gy/time,5 time/week.The total dose is often to 40 Gy. SRT is subsequently performed when the plan finished after CT scan. The target area of rumor is surrounded by 80-90% dose level,5 times per week,3-7 Gy/time,4-12 times. The median biological effective dose is to 72 Gy.66 patients is given chemotherapy.Chemotherapy regime is not the same ,but often for phase III/FV patients. The result is analysed using SPSS 10.0 statistical software pack. Results: The first follow-up response:58 patients is CR, 64 PR, 33 SD, 27 PD.On univariate analysis, radiation dose >70Gy(p=0.000) ,tumor volume<90cm3... |
