A Multi-center Randomized Controlled Single-blinded Trail Of Compound Loratadine Capsule And Loratadine Psudoephadrine Tablet For Allergic Rhinitis

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of compound loratadine capsule on allergic rhinitis.Methods: In the multiple-center, single-blind, comparative study, 240 outpatients who were diagnosed of allergic rhinitis from Hua Xi hospital of Sichuan University, Southwest hospital of The Third Military University of Medical Science and Sub-hospital of Chongqing University of Medical Science were randomly divided into two groups (test group and control group) for 14 days treatment. Patients were respectively treated with compound loratadine capsule once daily and loratadine pseudoephedrine tablet twice daily. The therapeutic efficacy and safety of allergic rhinitis were analysed through a series of statistical methods.Results: 1) At the end of treatment, clinical cure rate and efficacy rate of two groups were 91.26% and 96.04% . The values of two groups has no significant differences (P>0.05). 2) Adverse drug reactions were slight tomoderate. ADRs rates were 24.76% and 25.23%.Conclusion: compound loratadine capsule is effective for allergic rhinitis .
