Operative Therapy Of Peroneal Tendon Subluxation

Objective: To study the injury mechanism, clinical characteristics and operation means of peroneal tendon subluxation, and reduce early misdiagnosis.Methods:To review the curative experiences of 12 cases of dislocation of the peroneal Tendons through self-invented bone-block procedures, and analyse anatomical factors and traumatic mechanism of peroneal tendon subluxation.Results:There are no recurrence in postoperative follow-up of 4 months~2years.Conclusion:Peroneal tendon subluxation on early stage may be diagnosed wrongly. Careful physical examination and MRI are helpful to early diagnose. Curative effect is satisfactory on the treatment of chronic peroneal tendon subluxation by operation means.
