| Objective: Observing the effects of the compound prescription of replenish Qi, warming Yang and activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis on PCNA of Rabbit Iliac Artery after Balloon Injury, to investigate the mechanism of vascular smooth muscel cell proliferation and its effect on RS after PTCA.Methods: The model of vascular restenosis established by balloon injury of rabbit carotid arteries was used. Rabbit were killed at 1, 2, 4 weeks after balloon denudation respectively. Utilizing the techniques, such as optical microscope, electron microscope, immunohistochemistry, were used to detect the change of the thickness of intima and media, luminal area and PCNA expression at different time.Results: Compared mode group with false operation group, vascular lumen was seriously narrow on 4th week after balloon injury; the area of neonatal intima and the intima proliferation index and PCNA in mode group were significantly higher than the treatment group.Conclusion: The compound prescription of replenishing Qi, warming Yang,activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis can inhibit the proliferation and migration of VSMC so as to prevent intimal hyperplasia and vessel stenosis. |
