Objective: To establish a kind of perfect and viable biological model of chronic pyogenic osteomyelitis (CPO), and investigate the related index and data of experiment. Methods: This experiment analyzes all king of factor from the outside to the inside, putting forward the reasonable data and project to the various prior conditions that experiment need. According to the method of Norden and the method of Shenlin ,this article reports a model of CPO in rabbits . All animals are treated for 1 month, and observed with temperature , weight , RBC rolling , Erythrocyte C3b receptor ratio( E-C3bRR), erythrocyte immune compound ratio(E-ICR), serum lysozyme activity, bone X-ray ,B-ultrasonic diagnosis and histopathological data. All of the related index and data want to proceed statistically analysis. Results: the model shows many signs such as fistula, periosteal reaction, dead space, iytic bone lesions and sequester, the bone trabecula arrange mess and dissolution etc. These change fit together with the symptom of the CPO. Great significant contrast are found among the related index and data. Conclusion: Experiment proof that this experiment can be used as the biological model of the CPO.
