Objective By studying the expression of PTEN, Ki-67 , PCNA and β-catenin, MMP-7 in the endometrial hyperplasia and type ? endometrial carcinoma,We discussed the relationship between them and their distribution rules,selected appropriate indicators to distinguish the diagnosis of the disease.Method We detected PTEN , Ki-67 , PCNA and β-catenin , MMP-7 by immunohistochemistry.The paraffin embedded samples were selected from 69 cases of simple hyperplasia,65 cases of complex hyperplasia,57 cases of atypical hyperplasia,82 cases of type ? endometrial carcinoma. At the same time,20 cases of normal proliferative endometrium were adopted as the control. The results were tested by statistical method.( Kruskal-Wallis test,Kendall's rank correlation).Result 1 In the normal proliferative endometrium , simple hyperplasia , complex hyperplasia, atypical hyperplasia and endometrial carcinoma,The positive rate of the five indicators:(1) PTEN expression decreased significantly.The expression of PTEN in endometrial carcinoma and atypical hyperplasia was much lower than complex hyperplasia (X~2=13.892, 3.929; P <0.05 ) .(2) The expression of PCNA and Ki-67 increased significantly, Ki-67 expression in endometrial carcinoma was much higher than atypical hyperplasia and complex hyperplasia (X~2=8.957, 26.134; P<0.05) .(3)The abnormal expression of β-catenin increased slowly.(4)The expression of MMP-7 increased significantly. MMP-7 expression in endometrial carcinoma and atypical hyperplasia was much higher than complex hyperplasia(X~2=6.487, 4.129; P <0.05). 2 By Kendall's rank correlation:(1) PTEN was negatively correlated to Ki-67 in atypical hyperplasia and endometrial carcinoma (r=-0.519,-0.327;P<0.05 ) ,PCNA was positively correlated to Ki-67 in the above two groups(r=0.259,0.288; P<0.05).(2) 8-catenin was positively correlated to MMP-7 in atypical hyperplasia and endometrial adenocarcinoma(r=0.433, 0.218; P<0.05).(3) PTEN was negatively correlated to 6-catenin in atypical hyperplasia and endometrialadenocarcinoma(r=-0.335,-0.244;P<0.05), but has no direct correlation to MMP-7 .Conclusion The experiment results showed : (1)PTEN, Ki-67 , PCNA and...
