BackgroundThe GMC proliferation plays an important role in glomerular sclerosis by influencing the ECMs secretion and mechanical injury on the glomerular capillaries. MMPs is a group of enzymes which can decompose the ECM. There are few of them in normal glomerular GMC and they will slow the glomerular sclerosis by inhibiting the GMC proliferation. They â…¡ be showed more at the beginning of disease, so the hign - convey of MMP shows the GMC proliferation is inhibited. The MCP - 1 has the function of hastening macrophages and can promote GMC proliferation , so hign convey of them shows the GMC proliferation. So, research of the mechanism of GMC proliferation can direct clinic medicine and treatment. Someone found that the GMC splitting can be prevented by stoping the [ Ca2+ ] inflowing.ObjectiveObserving the conveying of MCP - 1 and MMP - 2 on GMC under the different concentration of CA . So to study Whether CA can inhibite the GMC proliferation or not.MethodCultrued rat GMC were incubated with different concentration CA for 24 hours . Then they were dyed with the SABC immunohistochemistry reagent, MCP -1 and MMP - 2 Ab. Computer image - analyzing system was used to analyze those GMC slices.
