Object To explore myocardial injury could occur in critical care patients with acute non -cardiac illness and search for the relation between myocardial injury and prognosiMethod 60 critical care patients with non -cardiac illness were enrolled in this study, they were tested of the level of serum creatine kinasa (CK) ,creatine kinasa and myocardial myoglobin isoensyme(CK-MB), lastate dehydrogenase (LDH), α -hydrooxybutryrate dehydrogenasa ( α -HBDH) and aspartate transaminase ( AST) and were recorded electrocardiogrqphy once a day respectively. 60 patients were divided into survivor group and death group. There were 39patients and 21 patients in the two groups respectively, The 60 patients divided into shock group and non- shock group. There were 18 patients and 42 patients in the two groups respectively. The results were contrasted and analyzed between shock group and non- shock group, survivor group and death group respectively.Result(1) myocardial enzyme: The highest level of CK . CK-MB. LDHα-HBDH and AST in death group were (611.67 ± 357.04) u/1 (49.00 ±22.60)u/1 (512.71±228.01 )u/1 (426.10± 162.25 )u/l and(144.62± 98.70)u/1 respectively. In survivor group, they were (336.31±283.12) u/1 (28.97 ±16.72 )u/1 (374.21 ± 186.52) u/1 (291.82 ± 154.56) u/1 and (93.28 ± 65.92)u/1 respectively. In shock group, they were (590.94 ± 360.05) u/1 (62.83 ±32.07 ) u/1 (508.22 ± 233.17) u/1 (419.56 ± 167.84)u/l and (173.44 ±117.65) u/1 respectively. In non-shock group, they were (373.67 ±303.43 )u/1 (36.05± 27.06) u/1 (373.79 ± 195.40) u/1 (308.44± 162.43) u/1 and(105.00 ±109.57 ) u/1 respectively, The levels of CK . CK-MB, LDH.
