Object Using SELDI protein chip technology to detect the different serum protein spectrum of HBV infected carriers and HCC patient ,and to explore serum markers for diagnosis of HCC.Methods Surface enhanced laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry technology was used to analyze sera including 27 HCC patients,27 HBV infected carriers and 25 healthy controls on WCX2 protein chip .The data was analyzed by Biomarker Wizard and Biomarker Patterns Software 5.0(BPS5.0),and then a diagnosis model was set up .Results Ninty-two protein peaks were detected in the molecular range of 1200—30000Da,among which 59 ones were significantly different in HBV infected carriers , HCC patients and healty controls(P<0.05). Biomarker Pattern's software 5.0(BPS5.0) was used to analyze these peaks and we found the protein peaks which can discriminate HBV infected carriers and HCC patients , HBV infected carriers and healty individuals, healty individuals and HCC patients respectively.A diagnosis patterns were established with 93%,96%,84% specificity and 85%,96%,89% sensitivity...
