Adipose tissue was for a long time regarded as a relatively passive site of energy storage. This energy is accumulated in the form of triglycerides during periods of excess food consumption and mobilized when calorie intake is inadequate. Recent studies indicate that adipose tissue is an endocrine organ producing numerous proteins with broad biological activity. The secretoryproducts of adipose tissue, collectively referred to as 'adipocytokines' , include leptin, tumor necrosis factor-a (TNF-α), interleukin 6 (1L-6), transforming growth factor β (TGF-β), plasminogen activator-inhibitor 1 (PAI-1),angiotensinogen, adipsin, acylation-stimulating protein and metallothionein Proteins secreted by adipose tissueplay an important autocrine role in adipose tissue physiology and are involved in obesity-associated complications, such as insulin resistance, endothelial dysfunction, arterial hypertension and atherosclerosis Adiponectin: also called Acrp30, AdipoQapM-1, GBP28, which is recently described secretory products of adipose tissue Although adiponectin was secreted by fat cell. Plasma adiponectin is lower in patients with obesity than in body mass index-matched healthy individuals. Hypoadiponectinemia may contribute to insulin resistance and accelerated atherogenesis associated with obesity. Adiponectin possible role in these processes. We made diabetes rats by injection of Alloxan (ALX) and made hypso-diet rats. Using Semi-quantitive reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), we investigated adiponectin and insulin-recepter mRNA expression in adipose tissue induced by ALX of diabetes rats. The results were as follows:1 Adiponectin mRNA expression in adipose tissue in diabetes rats were apparently lower than that control groups. The differentia have higher statistic significance.(P<0.01)2 Adiponectin mRNA expression in adipose tissue in hypso-diet rats were apparently lower than that control groups. The differentia have statistic significance. (P<0.05 )3 Insulin-recepter mRNA expression in adipose tissue in diabetes rats were apparently higher than that control groups. The differentia have higher statistic significance.(P<0.01)4 Insulin-recepter mRNA expression in adipose tissue in hypso-diet rats were...
