The action of C-reactive protein and herpes simplex virus in ischemic strokeObjective: Observe the relativity of CRP, herpes simplex virus type 1 and type 2 antibody and ischemic stroke. Methods: Observe 39 patients with ischemic stroke as experiment group, 30 healthy people as control group. Both groups exclude patients with latter infection, serious tumor of liver and kidney and surgery and trauma. Fix quantify supervise the CRP of serum from patients with ischemic stroke by high sensibility CRP immunity radiation analysis. Fix quantify observe the antibody of herpes simplex virus type 1 and type 2 from the serum of patients by enzyme immunity. Results: In experiment group, 14 patients' CRP concentration of serum exceeds 10mg/L. 24 patients' CRP concentration of serum is lower than lOmg/L. average concentration of experiment group is 23.67+35.68 ng/ml. average concentration of control group is 1.66±1.80ng/ml; there are very prominence difference between two groups, experiment group is dramatically higher than control group. The average concentration of anti-HSV-IgM 1 experiment group is 0.3134+0.38, that of control group is 2.91 + 15.50; there are no marked difference. The average concentration of anti-HSV-IgM 2 experiment group is 0.07+0.13, that of control group is 0.01+0.009. There are very prominence difference between two groups, experiment group is dramatically higher than control group. Conclusions: 1. Ischemic stroke can lead to the lifting of CRP level in serum. 2. Antibody of herpes simplex virus type 1 have no relation with ischemic stroke,. Antibody of herpes simplex virus type 2 increases in patients suffered from brain stroke.
