Research Of Decrepitude Rat Model With Deficiency Of Kidney-yang Syndrome

Objective:The natural decrepitude animal is often applied to study the relationship between the aging and kidney-yang deficiency and to invent new medicine which can be good to deficiency of kidney . Yet, there are still some problems through out the research, such as the difference in month age and gender, the month age of animal mainly concentrated from twenty four to thirty months, as far as the gender of the animal, most of the people will choose the male rat. However, there was no clear criterion of which month age and gender animal is the most suitable model of kidney-yang deficiency . The study observe the different age month and gender rats, compared them with some of the acknowledged indexes of kidney-yang deficiency, furthermore, I treat the rats with the medicine and observe how they recover, through these, I try to find out the difference of the rats and deduce which can be used as better model of kidney-yang deficiency. By the research we hope to offer references to standardization work in animal model of traditional Chinese medicine especially in the study of aging. Method: The experiment is divided into three parts The first part of the experiment: to judge whether the natural decrepitude animal possess the characters of deficiency of kidney and if there is difference of the different gender.The natural decrepitude animals are the model group, and then choose the same number young rats as control group. Male rats and female rats compose each half in the two groups.
