Objective: In this study two Y-STRs(DYS19,DYS390)were analysed to reveal the allele and haplotype distribution in Han nationality of NanChang in Chain. Methods: The genetic polymorphisms of DYS19,DYS390 among 120 unrelated males of Han nationality of NanChang were obtained by using Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR) .The PCR products were detected by polyacrylamide gel electrophresis and silver staining. Results: Six alleles were observed for DYS19,DYS390 with different frequency from 0.008 to 0.45 and from 0.008 to 0.392, respectively. Gene diversity(GD) for these loci were 0.696 and 0.703, respectively. 22 haplotypes were found in 120 unrelated males of Han nationality of NanChang and the haplotype diversity(HD) was 0.903 for these loci. It showed significant differences of allele frequency distribution when Han nationality of NanChang compared to other populations with Χ2 testing. Conclusion: The study at the two Y-STR loci would be valuable loci to forensic DNA testing and to population genetics because of the high genetic polymorphisms and population-specific allele frequency distribution. |
