Objective The purpose of this paper is to retrospectively study on the surgical management of spontaneous esophageal rupture. Methods A total of 8 patients with spontaneous esophageal rupture adopted the management of Ligating neck and abdomen esophagus with absorbable ligatures . Results All of these patients were cured after operation and can pay food through mouth. They have survived one year at least. Conclusion The key of curing spontaneous esophageal rupture lies in early and correct diagnose as well as timely and effective treatment. Ligating neck and abdomen esophagus is an effective management of spontaneous esophageal rupture. |
