| The blood sugar of a number of patients rises following acute cerebral infarction, which aggravates the cerebral tissue lesion and affects the prognosis of the patients seriously. The insulin resistance (IR) is the important reason of hyperglycemia and impedes the recovering of neural function post-cerebral infarction. This experiment is to find a new pathway to increase the effect and prognosis through adding certain acupuncture points into basic therapy to ameliorate IR and low blood sugar.MethodsSixty cases of acute cerebral infarction and hyperglycemia will be divided into two groups randomly. We will give routine and basic therapy to the patient in one group and add points that ameliorate IR to low blood sugar into the above therapy in the other one. Observe the differences of insulin sensitive index, blood sugar, cholesterol, triglyceride, platelet aggregation, fibrinogen and plasma viscosity between pre-treatment and post-treatment. Evaluate the therapeutic effect on stroke and neurological impairment. Analyze the results statistically. |
