Nitroglycerine Induced Later Phase Of Preconditioning Against Myocardial Infarction In Rabbits With Higher Expression Of NF-κB

OBJECTIVES: The study sought to evaluate whether nitroglycerine can mimick later phase of preconditioning in rabbits and it's relation with expression of NF- K B.METHODS: All total 30 rabbits were randomly assign to 5 groups, control group underwent 30-minute coronary occlusion and 90-minute reperfusion, IP group underwent a sequence of four 5-minute coronary/5 -minute reperfusion cycles, IP and I/R group underwent a sequence of four 5-minute coronary/5-minute reperfusion cycles then underwent 30-minute coronary occlusion and 90-minute reperfusion 24 hours later, NTG group were pretreated with a 60-minute IV infusion of nitroglycerine, NTG and I/R group were pretreated with a 60-minute IV infusion of nitroglycerine then underwent 30-minute coronary occlusion and 90-minute reperfusion 24 hours later. Myocardial sample were remove from the ischemic-reperfused region to test the content of NF- K B and the MFA%RESULTS: The MFA% of control group, IP and I/R group and NTG and I/R group were 59.64 + 4.72%, 33.16 + 6.10% and 32.65?.68%. There wereNitroglycerine induced later phase of preconditioning against myocardial infarction in rabbits with higher expression of NF- K B Abstactsignificant differences in MFA%(p<0.056), The content of NF- K B were 0.2197?.1158, 0.6583 ?.1242 and 0.6250?.1440. There were significant differences in NF- K B.CONCLUSION: Nitroglycerine can induced later phase of preconditioning against myocardial infarction in rabbits effect and nitroglycerine induced higher expression of NF- KB.
