| Hygienic epidemic prevention is crucial to military action, and even has an immediate bearing on its victory. After entering the 21st century, in the light of the immense changes of worldwide military formation, weaponry system and mode of operations, higher requirements are proposed to hygienic epidemic prevention. So, Combining the reality of military hygienic epidemic preventionin, it is important and imperative to establish a new type of rational training system and promote the staff's quality education in all-round-way to respond to the call of pushing on new military reform made by the central military committee, and to meet the demands of hi-tech local war in the future and the modernization of the working personnels of military hygienic epidemic prevention.On the basis of the research on the tendency of new military reform and the transformation of modern military mode, this paper summarizes characteristics of the current education and training system in foreign army aiming at meeting demands of military development. It also finds that the prominent and common features are that, the emphases on quality education, training talents in advance and in different levels, combination of training and utilizing, depending on national education, training by network, and etc.In line with the current situation of quality education and staff construction of military hygienic epidemic prevention, a deep and systematic survey was hold .It gathers the information of institutions, working personnels and training of hygienic epidemic on the situation of hygienic prevention in different war zones, different ranks, different institutions, and the compositions of rank, degree and major of our staff and the requirement of talents quality and training. The main results of the survey are as follows: 1. The condition of questionnaires: 88 questionnaires for units were delivered and 74 were feed back; While 450 individual questionnaires were delivered and 315 were feed back (the respective ratio are 84.1% and 74.0%).2. Condition of personnels being investigated: Proportion of degree: the respective ratio of master, graduate, degree of junior college, and degree of technical secondary school are 9.8%, 46.0%, 38.1%, 6.1%.Proportion of rank: the respective ratio of captain of epidemic prevention team, surgeon, health sergeant, and other logistic person are 15.5%, 75.9%, 4.8%, 3.8%.Proportion of working time: the respective ratio of personnels whose working time is less than 5 years, 5-10 years, 10-15 years, 15-20 years, and more than 20 years are 51.1%, 21.6%, 12.1%, 9.5%, 5.7%.3. Concept of hygienic epidemic prevention: The ratios of camannders who think epidemic prevention as very important, important, general, unimportant are 17.8%, 31.4%, 38.4%, 12.4%, respectively.The ratios of military epidemic prevention personnels whose attitudes to their work are devotional, like, general, unlike are 37.1%, 53.7%, 9.2%, 0%, respectively.The ratios of military epidemic prevention personnels whose working attitudes are very stable, stable, general, unstable are 18%, 34%, 37%, 11%, respective.The ratios of military epidemic prevention personnels who think their work as very important in peacetime and in wartime are 64.8%, 82.2%, respectively. 4. Quantity of team: Comparing the actual quantities of military epidemic prevention personnels of three different level institutions to the criterion of our army, the respective ratios are +1.5%, -25%, and -23%. 5.
